Second meeting with the special opening of the nine contemporary art galleries that have joined together in a new collaboration and communication project in Venice. A new map of scheduling from February to May 2018 is also ready

Venice Galleries View, an initiative made up by nine research galleries, joined together to enhance and support contemporary art in the Venetian area (A plus A, Alberta Pane, Beatrice Burati Anderson, Caterina Tognon, Ikona, Marignana Arte, Massimodeluca, Michela Rizzo and Victoria Miro), is back on Saturday 17th February 2018.

After the debut on 24th and 25th of November last year, on the occasion of the last opening weekend of the Biennale Arte, Venice Galleries View proposes once again a series of special inaugurations and openings, as well as the schedule of the day and the previews of the scheduling of the exhibition spaces until May 2018. In addition to the nine galleries, a selection of spaces of interest is marked in the map – which will be released three times a year.

Venice Galleries view’s objective is to consolidate, first of all in Venice, but also throughout the rest of Italy and internationally, the perception of an active, solid and increasingly articulated network of private exhibition spaces, which will enrich the offer of museums and foundations and that will enliven Venice and Mestre for all the twelve months of the year.

As Tiziano Scarpa writes on the map in the introduction to the project, the galleries have the vital task “to make the present flow, invent it and prefigure the future”.
